Ramp believes that in order to be an expert in our field, we need to collaborate with experts and professional bodies to ensure we are abreast of best practice within the RFID and Automatic Identification industry.
Listed below are the professional bodies to which we belong or are affiliated with, either as corporate members or in an individual professional capacity:
GS1 is a leading global organization dedicated to the design and implementation of global standards and solutions to improve efficiency and visibility in supply and demand chains.
The GS1 Barcode (GS1 System of Standards) remains the most widely used identification system and supply chain standard in the world today, enabling 2 million companies in over 150 countries to identify, capture and share information about products, cartons, pallets, documents, locations, assets and more.
AIM (Association for Automatic Identification And Mobility) is a global trade association for the Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) industry, representing manufacturers, consultants and system integrators.
AIM actively supports the development of AIM standards through its own Technical Symbology Committee (TSC), Global Standards Advisory Groups, and RFID Experts Group (REG), as well as through participation at the industry, national (ANSI) and international (ISO) levels.
RAIN is an industry alliance (part of AIM global) that promotes awareness, education and initiatives to accelerate UHF RFID growth and adoption in business and consumer applications worldwide.
The Alliance promotes the use of ISO/IEC 18000-63 and GS1 EPC(TM) UHF Gen 2.
